About the role
Objectives
In this role, you will find, qualify, and close opportunities around companies building on NATS as their communication backbone.
This role reports to the VP of Global Sales. This position will be instrumental in continuing our track record of growth, working with some of the world’s most innovative companies as we scale our business further in 2024 and build on an existing foundation of customers, users, and partners.
Requirements
7+ Years of experience closing business in Enterprise Sales Cycles (6 - 7 Figure Annual Contract Value).
High-energy, self-focused, and diligent in pursuing opportunities
Strong cross-functional communication and organizational skills - you will be working with global remote teams, both internally and with prospects and customers
Strong understanding of the cloud and infrastructure software market.
Ability to travel 25% of the time, if required
Efficient and accurate qualification and forecasting skills
Experience building and presenting territory plans and modeling account projections
Adept at building and maintaining authentic relationships with stakeholders (influencers and buyers alike)
Executive presence - strong listening, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel ~25% of the time
Desirable Skills
Experience selling commercial open-source software
Experience in data streaming, middleware, and distributed systems space
Knowledge and experience selling in key industry segments such as Finance, Automotive/EV, Manufacturing, or High-Tech industries.
