About the role

Objectives

  • Build strong partnerships with customers, ensuring their success by helping them meet their technical needs and deploying Synadia’s offering while looking for expansion opportunities. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, cultivating trust and confidence offering expert guidance on product usage, configuration, and optimization. 

  • Facilitate seamless communication between internal teams and the customers during project implementations, troubleshooting technical issues, and advocating for customer interests within the organization.

  • Drive mutual value and satisfaction while reinforcing Synadia’s position as a trusted partner in the customer and industry.


Requirements and responsibilities

  • Become the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

  • Regularly engage with customers to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements and develop action plans for success.

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships within customer organizations (technical teams, project managers, executives…)

  • Identify growth opportunities (upselling or cross-selling)

  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate potential risks that impact customer satisfaction or project success.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.

  • Provide feedback from customer interactions to inform product development and enhancement efforts.

  • Provide basic technical support and assistance to customers post-sale, including troubleshooting, configuration guidance, and issue resolution, and serve as a liaison with the technical support team where needed, facilitating the resolution of technical issues promptly.

  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates for the company offering, continuously learning about competing products, relevant market/industry trends, and technologies in general.


Skills and qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in customer success or project delivery roles

  • Experience using, designing, or developing messaging technologies, such as, but not limited to NATS.io, Kafka, TIBCO, JMS, MQTT, AMQP, RabbitMQ 

  • Experience interacting with user groups and open source communities. 

  • Experience with software development (GoLang, Python, Java, C/C++, or others)

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms, cloud-native products, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, related security aspects, and large-scale deployments in general.

  • Good understanding of systems operations concepts, disk, networking, OS (Unix), and comfortable working in the terminal.

  • Experience or familiarity with IoT architectures, web technologies, security, and virtualization technologies 

  • Good collaboration and relationship management skills 

  • Ability and interest to quickly learn new technologies!

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or similar

Salary range

The projected salary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000. The projected salary range is just one component of the total compensation for this position. Total compensation for this position also includes equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
